Abstract

As printed in the paper, in its original language.

The study deals with the graphic system by which Linear A is expressed. It discusses the main characteristics that distinguish it, with particular emphasis on the ideographic part. It focuses on the signs and, after examining them, deals with the way they join together to form words. Through comparison with Linear B, it proposes the reading and the translation of a set of documents.
